Srinagar, Dec 18: A PDD lineman from central Kashmir’s Budgam district who fell from an electric pole at Rajpora area of Pulwama district 11 days ago, died at a hospital on Saturday, officials said.
Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that 50-years-old Bashir Ahmad of Yusmarg, was admitted to the hospital after falling from an electric pole at Sikloo Rajpora in Pulwama district.
A doctor at SMHS Hospital here confirmed the death of Bashir Ahmad after remaining in ICU for all these days with a serious head injury.
The lineman has left behind five daughters and a son, as per GNS.
