Chairperson DDC Baramulla conducts public outreach prog

BARAMULLA: In order to take a firsthand appraisal of the issues and problems being faced by public at gross root level, the Chairperson District Development Council Baramulla, Safeena Beigh, accompanied by various concerned officers today conducted Public Outreach Programme at various Blocks of Baramulla district.

The programme apart from locals was also attended by many deputations of adjacent villages, civil society and PRI members.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that instructions issued in public interaction programmes have brought significant confidence and change among general public.

During the programme, DDC patiently took note of the issues and demands put forth by the representatives of local populace, individually as well as through deputations.

The demands were mostly based on routine requirements consisting improvement in water supply, electricity, roads etc.

Responding to the issues, the DDC said special focus will be envisaged to the overall development and fast track redressal process will be initiated.
