Kupwara: Body of 21-years-old man was found under mysterious circumstances in Hijitra village of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday late evening.
The deceased was identified as Sharafat Nabi Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, resident of Bandariyain Hajitra village of Karnah.
“After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites,” the police said, adding a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation initiated in this regard. (KNS)
