DDC Baramulla reviews progress on CM’s commitments

BARAMULLA, 25 APRIL: District Development Commissioner Nasir Ahmad Naqash today chaired a meeting here at Dak Bungalow to review the status of implementation of the directions passed by the Chief Minister during her public outreach programme (Public Darbar) in Baramulla district.

Joint Director Planning A G Malik, SDMs, Engineers of line departments, various district and sectoral officers and others concerned attended the meeting.

On the occasion DDC took a comprehensive and sector wise review of different developmental works wherein he was informed that maximum commitments have been implemented in letter and spirit while as rest are in different phases of implementation. Meanwhile he also reviewed the necessary arrangements for the upcoming District Development Board meeting wherein he stressed upon the heads of various departments to take the concerned MLAs on board while formulating draft action plan 2018-19 so that the plan gets smoothly executed.

Moreover, Dr Naqash directed the officers to play a proactive role in the execution of developmental works committed by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti during her outreach programme. He also impressed upon concerned executing agencies to accelerate the developmental tempo so that all commitments made by CM are fulfilled as per the timeline fixed for each work.

He reiterated the officers for maintaining documentation, besides pre and post photographic evidence of each work and videography during the execution of the works conducted by the departments. The DDC also reviews the implementation of various centrally as well as state sponsored schemes and flagship programmes during the meeting.

On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner complimented several departments who have implemented all commitments pertaining to their department and exhorted upon others for timely completion of remaining works into their respective domains.
