Srinagar: The National Police Commemoration Day was observed with full ceremonial tradition across Jammu and Kashmir.
The main function was organized at the Armed Police Complex Zewan, where Lt Governor J&K Manoj Sinha was the chief guest.
The function was attended by Advisor to LG, R.R Bhatnagar, Chief Secretary, J&K A.K Mehta, Principal Secretary Home J&K Shaleen Kabra, DGP Prison J&K, Dr. B. Srinivas, Spl DGs, R. R Swain, A.K Choudhary, ADGsP S. J. M. Gillani, Dr. S. D. Singh Jamwal, T. Namgyal, M. K. Sinha, Sunil Kumar, Danesh Rana, Div Com Kashmir, P. K Pole, IGsP Garib Dass, Vijay Kumar, Alok Kumar and a galaxy of other senior police, CAPFs and Civil officers.
Meanwhile, the Day was observed at all Zonal, Range, units and wing headquarters where senior police officers led their personnel to pay rich tributes to those who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
