The PRO further said: “Lt Gen DP Pandey, GOC Chinar Corps while addressing the students encouraged them to utilize the opportunity and become productive citizens of the society. He emphasized upon the importance of the good academic platform and able instructional staff, which in present instance, is being provided by the Mewar University.”

“He appreciated the immense efforts put in by the Mewar University under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairman Mewar University, who himself was present to welcome the students of J&K to his Institution’s folds. The GOC also interacted with the past and present Kashmiri alumni of the University and urged them to further motivate the present batch to excel not only in studies but in other co-curricular activities as well,” he added.
