Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 86 fresh positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), including 78 from Kashmir and eight from Jammu division.

Moreover, 124 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 103 from Kashmir and 21 from Jammu division, officials said.

They also said 74.04 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials informed that no new case of Mucormycosis (black fungus) has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 46 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily media bulletin on novel coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 3,26,990 positive cases recorded cumulatively so far, currently there are 1,247 are active positive cases across the UT, while as 3,21,329 persons have recovered and 4,414 have died – 2,246 in Kashmir and 2,168 in Jammu division.
