Rajouri: Encounter broke out in a village located in the upper reaches of Rajouri district following a Cordon and Search Operation on Sunday morning.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that based on a specific input, army and police jointly laid cordon in Dori Maal and other villages of Rajouri.
They said that as the forces zeroed in on the suspected spot hiding militants fired on them, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter—(KNO)
