While speaking on the occasion, Dr Jatindra said that far-reaching reforms have been started by the Government of India led by Prime Minister Narinder Modi for the socio-economic well being of underprivileged Classes and Divyaangs. “Today we are working to raise the living standard of the underprivileged lot and bring new hope in their lives through a range of schemes,” said Dr Jitendra Singh.

Dr Singh also shared his experience of an old man asking him to convey his message to PM Modi Ji for widening the scope of the benefit of pension and enhancing the monthly amount of pensioners to enable them to live a respected life.

Dr Singh said that during the covid Pandemic the Central government provided pension to the old people and Divyangs at their doorstep through postal service so that they do not face any problem amid the lockdown.

Dr Singh further elaborated that the central govt has taken many initiatives for the empowerment of Women. He said that the benefits of pension have been extended to the daughter who lives with her widowed mother or alone and the divorced daughter of a widow by none other than the Modi government.

He said that it is a great step as a young divorce can avail the pension by just producing a court case registration file because it takes too long for her to get a final decision.

Dr Singh also mentioned the Jeevan Pramaan facility- a biometric-enabled digital service for pensioners, which has greatly facilitated the pensioners.
