“On his disclosure the arms and ammunition was recovered from his possession,” police said, adding his further interrogation pointed to the involvement of “two more OGWs identified as Jamsheed Ahmad Shah, son of Sunallaha Shah of Chak Mohalla, Langate, and Javed Ahmad Khan, son of Late Farooq Ahmad Khan of Asthan Mohalla, Langate, who were also apprehended along with arms and ammunition.”

Police said that during detailed interrogation, “it was revealed that all three OGWs were associated with LeT Tanzeem and were involved in supporting the terrorist activities and accepted their involvement in the grenade attack on CRPF camp on August 16 evening.”

Police said the three OGWs have been booked under relevant sections of law and further investigation is underway.
