Anantnag: The Chairman of Ummat e Islami and Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Qazi Ahmed Yasir has been arrested yet again by the Police.
A spokesman, in a statement, said that a police party raided the residence of Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir in South Kashmir around 1130 pm on Wednesday night and arrested him.
He was later lodged in Police Station Sadr in Anantnag.
Pertinently he had been released on Sunday night after being arrested on Friday after leading a pro freedom rally in Khudwani.
The Ummat e Islami has condemned the arrest of Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir and demanded immediate release of all the youth who have been arrested following Wednesday protests.
