Baramulla: A 17-year-old boy was saved from drowning by the timely action of locals and police at Drang in Trangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said Saturday.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO that the boy drowned while taking bath in a stream at Drang, following which some locals jumped into the gushing stream and rescued the boy with the help one ASI Shakeel Ahmad of police station Tangmarg.
