Recruitment of women, border battalions: Dates for PET, PST announced

Srinagar: The Chairman of Police Recruitment Board for 02 women Battalions and 02 Border Battalions have announced dates for conducting physical standard test vide two separate notifications.

According to the notification for 02 women battalions all the candidates of Kashmir Province who have applied for the post of constables in 02 women battalions that their Physical Endurance Test/ Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) which was stalled earlier because of Covid-19 pandemic is now being conducted at CRPF RTC SNR Ground Humhama w.e.f 28.06.2021 to 30.06.2021.

As per the notification issued for the recruitment of 02 Border Battalions all the candidates belonging to Kashmir Province (District Baramulla, Bandipora & Kupwara)  are informed that their Physical Endurance Test/ Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) shall be conducted w.e.f 03.07.2021.

The Candidates of 02 women battalions, 02 border battalions are advised to download their Admit Cards and Undertaking/ No Risk Certificate w.e.f 24/06/2021 and 28-06-2021 respectively from 0900 hours  on J&K Police Website (www.jkpolice.gov.in) which should be duly signed by the candidates and counter signed by parent/guardian before their participation in the event. The candidates are advised they must also be in possession of a COVID free certificate with them. The COVID RTPCR Test must have been conducted within the last 48 hours. Besides, the candidates are required to bring alongwith them admit cards, valid ID proof and all original testimonials.

It is pertinent to mention here that the recruitment process was postponed in March last year due to pandemic Covid-19. The original notification can also be downloaded from Jk Police official website and is also available on official facebook page of JK Police.
