Jammu, Apr 18: A father-daughter duo died of electrocution when they came in contact with a live wire in Pangore village here, the police said today.
They have been identified as Mohammad Ali (40) and his 13-year-old daughter, residents of Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Inspector Vikrant Singh, in-charge Gajansoo police post, was quoted as saying by PTI.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident last night. Later, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their family members for last rites after completion of legal formalities.
