16606 RReTs transited to Teacher Grade II, III: DSE

Teacher- student ratio in Govt schools is alarming

Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education (DSE) as per an official statement has informed that out of 17236 RReTs (Regularized Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers)/ReTs, 16606 have been transited to Teacher Grade II & III till now.

The statement further reads that out of remaining 630 cases, transition of 363 RReTs is pending on account of deficiency/verification of requisite documents and not having clear C.I.D verification remarks.

It was also given out in the statement that all the cases of transition of RReTs and regularization of ReTs is being vigorously processed in the Directorate with focused attention so that no one should feel desperate or helpless on this account. 

However, it was also made clear that the transition of Bashir Ahmad Mir R/O Avil D.H. Pora Kulgam (Father of deceased Shoib Bashir) is pending because of lack of clear police verification report.

Meanwhile, it has been reiterated that the legitimately earned salaries of all the RReTs / ReTs shall be released immediately.
