2 Minor cousins killed after cement pillar topples in Tangmarg

Srinagar: In a tragic incident of its kind two minor cousins were killed instantly after a pillar collapsed on them in Katipora Tangmarg area of Baramulla district.

Family sources said that the duo were playing in the courtyard and in the due course of time a cement pillar broke and collapsed on them. In the incident, both the girls died on the spot, they said.

The deceased duo has been in the meantime identified as Urfi Jaan and Soliha Jaan, aged between 8-9 years.

A police official concerned confirming the incident said that they are ascertaining the nature of incident.

Meanwhile a pall of gloom has descended over the area on the tragic death of the two minor girls. (GNS)
