JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government today finalized arrangements regarding offices moving In full and In Camp for the duration of deferment of the annual darbar move for the summer session 2021.

The government has issued an order in this regard here today which is in continuation to its earlier order number 354-JK(GAD) of  2021 dated 20.04.2021, and keeping in view the decision taken to defer the annual darbar move for the summer session 2021 because of recent COVID-19 situation in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir along with the decision for stationing secretariat departments/staff vide government order number 365-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 25.04.2021.

The order said that the move offices of Heads of the Departments which move in full shall also continue to remain functional both at Jammu as well as Srinagar. Besides, the offices of Heads of the Departments which move in Camp shall also continue to remain functional both at Jammu as well as Srinagar.

The Administrative Secretaries shall ensure arrangements for smooth functioning of offices of these Heads of the Departments at both the locations. The employees shall work at the location of the Heads of the Department allotted to them as per the orders to be issued by their Administrative Departments.

The primary location of the In full/In Camp move HoDs shall be as indicated at the Annexure given in the order and shall be for the duration of deferment of annual darbar move. The Administrative Secretaries shall ensure that for an HoD stationed at one location, the next ranked officer is available at the other location.

The order further added that the Heads of the Departments shall ensure that they are accessible to the general public at both locations, either physically or virtually. The Administrative Secretaries shall issue consequential orders by 28.04.2021 to ensure that this order takes effect fully.

The Heads of the Departments indicated in Annexure C, in the Order, shall have an internal arrangement on similar lines as that of Civil Secretariat Departments with the HoDs available equitably at both places.
