Srinagar, April 15: Srinagar police has arrested a bootlegger and seized illegal beer bottles from his possession.
A statement issued by police said that a naka party of Police Station Zadibal apprehended a suspected person carrying a bag. During search of the bag 30 bottles of Kingfisher brand beer were found.
The person was accordingly arrested and a case FIR No.15/2018 under section 50 Excise Act was registered in Police Station Zadibal. Further investigation of the case is going on, the statement added.
