12th class results: 4 girls share first position in science stream

Srinagar: Four girls from Srinagar have secured 100 percent marks in science stream in the 12th class examination of which results were declared on Monday morning.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that four girls secured 100 percent marks in science stream . Those  whose secured first position in science stream are Amal Sayeed (Candid Higher secondary school Nowgam), Hafsa Malik (Iqbal Memorial Institute Bemina), Ishrat Muzzafar (Harvard Higher secondary school Habak Naseem Bagh) and Zainab Quardi (Salfia Muslim Institute Parry pora)

They said that six students have secured 498 marks out of 500 in science stream. They further added that Khusboo Jan (Govt Higher secondary School Bijbehara) has topped arts stream by securing 100 percent marks .

The other toppers include Farizah Saleem Zargar with 497 marks and Fatima Noor, Husba Mahajan and Muteeba Bilal, who have secured 495 marks out of 500.

In commerce stream, Zeenat Fayaz (Govt Higher secondary school Nawa Kadal Srinagar) has topped the list by securing 493 marks out of 500.

The other toppers include Faleen Mushtaq and Naimah Bashir Shah, who both secured 490 marks out of 500.

Girls have once again outshined boys and have secured top positions in all streams besides that the pass percentage among girls is 83 percent and pass percentage among boys is 78 percent  while as the overall pass percentage is 80 percent—(KNO)
