The DDC Baramulla presided over the function. Among others CEO-GDA, ADT Tourism, General Manager Cable Car and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The General Secretary Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir (WGAJK) appreciated the JK team for bagging a good number of medals in the Championship.

President WGAJK, Abbas Wani, expressed his gratitude to all those who extended their help to make the event a grand success. “The WGAJK will hold the State Championship for senior boys and girls on February 11th to select the team for Khelo India,” said Wani.

Also present on the occasion were coaches of different teams, Divisional Sports Officer, Nusrat Gazala, SDM Tangmarg and Former International Skiers.

Meanwhile, the NSF has decided to shift the Senior National Championship from Auli Uttarakhand to Gulmarg as there is not enough snow at the ski resort.
