Kupwara 11 April 2018: Scores of people joined AIP’s march to protest against the killing of innocent civilians in Kulgam today. Protesters also condemned ‘shameless action’ by a section of lawyers of Kuthua Bar who tried to stop crime branch from producing challan against the accused involved in rape and murder of eight year old Asifa.

Protesters were demanding fast-track hearing of the case and appealed the saner voices in India to open their eyes and raise their voice against the criminals who are giving every issue a communal color.

Talking to media persons on the occasion Er. Rasheed said that it will be in the interest of justice if the case is transferred to some other court in Kashmir. He said “When those who claim to be saviors of justice try to lock the door of temple of justice, there is no hope that the court can discharge its duties pertaining to the case in accordance with the law. Govt. must take a call at earliest and also take the FIR against the criminal minded lawyers and other forces to the logical end”.

The protesters raised strong slogans against the civilian killings in Kulgam and appealed international community to come forward and persuade New Delhi to stop genocide against Kashmiris.
