NTA to conduct next UGC-NET from May 2

Srinagar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced the date-sheet for the December 2020 cycle of UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor.

As per a communiqué issued by the NTA, which has been entrusted by the UGC and Union Ministry of Education with the task, the next UGC-NET shall be conducted on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 May 2021.

The test, to be conducted through CBT mode only, shall comprise two MCQ based question papers of 50 and 100 questions carrying 100 and 200 marks respectively.

The examination will be of 3 hours duration and will be conducted in morning and evening shifts of 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm, the communiqué said.

The interested candidates have been asked to apply on www.nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in from February 02 to March 02 while application fees can be paid till March 03.
