Tangmarg: The Wildlife department on Sunday morning captured a black bear in Gundaripora area of Kunzar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
People of Kunzar, Tangmarg had a sigh of relief when Wildlife department captured the black bear which was on prowl for several days, local news agency KNS reported.
A Wildlife official said the department is making all possible efforts to keep a check on human-animal conflicts which has unfortunately witnessed increase during the past few years, mostly because of human interference in the forest areas.
“We have trapped black bear from a residential area of Gundaripora Kunzar, and will set it free in the forests of Gulmarg,” he added. (KNS)
