Mansoor commends KVIB for achieving new heights, record targets

JAMMU, APRIL 10: J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board Vice Chairman, Peerzada Mansoor Hussain Suhrawardhy appreciated the KVIB officials for accomplishing the allotted physical and financial targets during the financial year of 2017-18.

In his message of appreciation to the board, Mansoor said the J&K Khadi &Village Industries Board is one of the implementing agencies under Prime Minister’s employment generation programme and that the amount of the hard work put forth by the board officials is laudable.

Commending the KVIB for the outstanding performance, Mansoor said during the financial year of 2017-18, the physical and financial targets achieved by the board were 202 and 175 percent respectively.

Furthermore, the Vice Chairman added that the board during the year 2017-18 created 14039 number of employments in the – an all-time high since the year 2013-14.

Asking the board to continue its efforts to extend a helping hand to the youth and guide them towards a prosperous future, Mansoor said the board has set it as its prime focus to empower youth and instill in them enough confidence so that they could scan new heights with hope and courage.

Mansoor also hailed the leadership and motivational skills of Secretary KVIB, Rashid Ahmad Qadri, Dy CEO Kashmir, divisional officer Jammu and all district officers.

Wishing the board best for its future endeavors, the Vice Chairman said the time is not far when KVIB would become one of the most powerful youth empowering institutions that could get the State out of the unemployment and joblessness.
