Srinagar: An army soldier, who was injured during encounter on Friday evening at Kanigam, Shopian, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that a solider Anil Kumar Tomar of 44 RR, who was critically injured during encounter, succumbed to his injuries.
Pertinently, two local Al-Badr militants were killed and two soldiers were injured in 19-hour long encounter in Kanigam, Shopian which started Friday evening and ended on Saturday.
