MCC Violation: Forest Deptt employee suspended in Doda

DODA: District Election Authorities   Doda Tuesday suspended a forest department employee for violation of Election Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

Nodal Officer Model Code of Conduct, Surat Singh (ADDC) issued the suspension order against the erring employee.

As per the order, the suspended  Rehbar-e- Janglat employee of forest Division Doda  was found involved in MCC violation.

The Programme Officer ICDS Doda has been directed to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter and submit report within a week’s time. During the period of suspension he shall remain attached in the office of Tehsildar Doda.

Meanwhile, the District Panchayat Election Officer Doda has warned the Government employees not to indulge in MCC violation and act as responsible government machinery for smooth conduct of DDC Elections and bye Elections of Sarpanchs/ panches and ULBs.

District Panchayat Election Officer Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today took stock of the preparation of Polling material and printing of ballot papers.

The DPEO directed the concerned to ensure that all the requisite documents and polling material shall be provided to the polling team for the hassle free conduct of elections. He directed the ACD to also ensure availability of all necessary Covid protection material for the polling teams.

Meanwhile, the DPEO also visited election cell to review the status of printing of ballot papers. He   was apprised that the printing of Ballots has been completed for the first phase and will be provided to the concerned for further distribution.

Among others present were ACD, Prem Singh Chib, Dy DEO, Mohammad Idrees Lone, besides other concerned officials.
