Srinagar: At least thirteen persons have sustained injuries, six of them critical, after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded-off road near Sukh Sarai area along Mugal Road in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday evening.

Reports reaching GNS said that, a Rajouri bound Tempo bearing Registration number JK-02AQ 5944 met with an accident after the driver presumably lost control over the vehicle resulting in injuries to at least thirteen on-board passengers.

All the injured were evacuated to District Hospital Shopian however, as per latest reports, seven of them have with critical injuries been referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile a police official has confirmed the incident and said that a case under relevant sections has been registered and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
