Covid-19: Positive cases 91,861; recoveries 82, 858

Srinagar: The COVID-19 tally of Jammu and Kashmir rose to 91,861 on Sunday with 532 fresh cases, while the death toll climbed to 1,438 as eight more people succumbed to the disease, officials said.

Of the fresh cases, 177 are from Jammu and 355 from the Kashmir Valley, they said.

Srinagar district reported the highest number of new cases at 124, followed by 113 in Jammu district, the officials said.

There are 7,565 active cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 82,858 patients have recovered so far, they said.

Out of the eight deaths recorded in the union territory in the last 24 hours, three were reported from Jammu and five from Kashmir, they said.

Giving district-wise breakup, the officials said that Srinagar has 18655 positive cases (including 124 cases reported today) with 1748 Active Positive, 16563 recovered (including 170 cases recovered today), 344 deaths; Baramulla has 5619 positive cases (including 80 cases reported today) with 1429 Active Positive, 4049 recovered (including 41 cases recovered today), 141 deaths; Pulwama reported 4558 positive cases (including 19 cases reported today) with 238 active positive cases, 4240 recovered (including 39 cases recovered today), 80 deaths; Kulgam has 2459 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 108 Active Positive, 2305 recoveries (including 04 case recovered today), 46 deaths; Shopian has 2171 positive cases (including 25 cases reported today) with 85 Active Positive, 2051 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today) and 35 deaths; Anantnag district has 4176 positive cases (including 14 cases reported today) with 359 Active Positive, 3743 recovered (including 23 cases recovered today), 74 deaths;  Budgam has 5862 positive cases (including 26 cases reported today) with 365 Active Positive and 5405 recovered (including 31 cases recovered today), 92 deaths; Kupwara has 4286 positive cases (including 36 cases reported today) with 394 Active Positive, 3821 recovered (including 28 cases recovered today), 71 deaths; Bandipora has 3976 positive cases (including 19 cases reported today) with 277 Active Positive, 3654 recovered (including 10 cases reported today), 45 deaths and  Ganderbal has 3427 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 204 active positive cases, 3191 recoveries (including 25 cases recovered today) and 32 deaths.

In Jammu division, Jammu district has 16905 positive cases (including 113 cases reported today) with 914 active positive cases, 15742 recoveries (including 130 cases recovered today), 249 deaths; Rajouri has 3172 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 168 active positive cases, 2958 recovered (including 31 cases recovered today), 46 deaths; Ramban has 1556 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 59 active positive, 1484 recoveries (including 02 cases reported today) and 13 deaths; Kathua has 2382 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 43 Active positive, 2309 recovered (including 10 cases recovered today), 30 deaths; Udhampur has 2633 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 113 active positive cases, 2492 recovered and 28 deaths; Samba has 2133 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 370 Active Positive, 1738 recoveries  and 25 deaths; Doda has 2609 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 171 active positive cases, 2394 recoveries (including 15 cases recovered today), 44 deaths; Poonch has 2209 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 277 active positive, 1910 recoveries (including 55 cases reported today), 22 deaths; Reasi has 1224 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 70 active positive, 1147 recoveries and 07 deaths while Kishtwar has 1849 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today), with 173 active positive cases and 1662 recoveries  (including 20 cases recovered today) and 14 deaths.
