Petroleum Products Supply Resumes for Leh

Jammu, 05/Apr/2017: After harsh winter of almost 6 months and closing of on road supplies of essential and petroleum products to Ladakh region from other parts of the country, today 1st fleet of oil tankers including ATF, Petrol, Diesel and LPG Tanker Trucks left for Ladakh from Jammu IOC depot in presence of senior officers of the government oil companies, representatives of the truck tanker drivers union and several other prominent transporters.

The season’s 1st fleet of tankers and trucks carrying essential items is given a ceremonious  farewell with traditional Pooja and Parsad.

The senior officers appreciated the dedication of the drivers who braving all odds ensure timely supply of essential products to army and other civil organizations.

On this occassion, prominent amongst those who were present and addressed the gathering include  Parbhakar Kumar Senior Depot Manager Indian Oil Corporation, virinder Singh, Depot Manager BPCL, Preet Raj Sharma, Sh Kahlon depot manager of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Ranjit Singh Raina, president of oil tankers trucks drivers union, Harasis Singh,  Shashi lekha, Sohan Singh, Devinder Singh, transporters and owners of oil tankers
