Rajouri: A middle-aged woman from Qasba village of Poonch district was injured in firing from across the Line of Control in Shahpur Kirni area on Friday.
An official said that Hamida Bi, wife of Mohammad Din, a resident of Qasba, sustained a bullet injury in her hand when she was hit near her house.
He said that the woman was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav confirmed that the woman was injured in firing from across the LoC.
