Srinagar: A woman died after being attacked by a bear at New Theed Harwan on the outskirts of Srinagar, Thursday.
Witnesses told ‘Kashmir Images’ that a 58-years-old women suffered critical injuries when she was attacked by a bear in the kitchen garden at her home in New Theed Harwan. They said the injured woman was immediately rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased woman was identified as Haleema, wife of Ali Mohammad Ganaie of New Theed Harwan.
A police official while confirming the incident told ‘Kashmir Images’ that the body was handed over to the deceased’s family members after completing medico-legal formalities.
