18 kanal land allotted to 4 units at Industrial Estate in Reasi

REASI, APRIL 04: With an effort to make the newly established Industrial Estate at Gran More in Reasi functional, 18 kanal of land has been allotted to 4 firms for establishing their units at this Industrial Estate.

The formal possession of the land to firms would be given by SICOP soon and a lease deed initially for a period of 40 years will be executed between unit holders and agency before taking other steps ahead. The departments of pollution Control Board, Power, R&B, PHE and Forest have also given their nod.

Pertinently, the Single Window Clearance Committee (SWCC) held on February 26, 2018 in the office of Deputy Commissioner Reasi has also formally accorded approval to all the four firms which include Shiv Shanker Industries for duplex boxes and corrugated boxes, V V Products for Katha Pan Paste and Kuch, Chinar Agro Products for Katha and Outch and AAR JAY Fabricators for steel fabrication works.

An open invitation has already been sent by district administration to promote micro, small and medium scale industries in Reasi so that suitable firms would be encouraged to come forward in establishing their units in the industrial estate thereby giving massive push to the employment generation.

General Manager, DIC Reasi Anil Thakur informed there is an open invitation for interested industrialists for establishing their small scale industries in the estate. He assured that full cooperation and support to prospective entrepreneurs would be provided by the district administration especially by Industries and Commerce department.
