People call on Advisor Khan at Srinagar to condole his mother’s demise

SRINAGAR: People belonging to different sections of society today called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan here to condole death of his mother Khalida Begum.

Several people which include deputations and individuals from wide spectrum of socio-political organizations, religious leaders, Imams and Khateebs of Mosques and Shrines, besides journalists and representatives of businesses and trade bodies conveyed their deepest sympathies and condolences to Advisor Khan at his Tulsi Bagh residence here.

The religious heads include Imam Khateebs of Ziyarat Syed Yaqoob Sahab (RA) Sonawar, Peerzada Muhammad Hussain Qadri; Ziyarat Syed Masoom Shah (RA) Zero Bridge, Molvi M Noorani Naqashbandi and Ziyarat Asim Shah-Qasim Shah (RA) Chashmashahi, Molvi Ghulam Nabi Mir.

On the occasion, the visiting deputations and individuals also prayed for the departed soul and extended their deepest condolence to the grief stricken family.

Also, a prayer meeting was held for peace to the departed soul.

Advisor Khan, on the occasion, expressed his gratitude to the people for their prayers and lending emotional support to his family in this hour of grief.

Khalida Begum passed away on July 20 from a prolonged illness.
