Missing woman, girl found in Udhampur

Jammu, Mar 31: A missing woman and a teenage girl, who went missing last month, have been found by police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, an official said.

Based on a complaint of family members, a missing report was lodged at police station Majalta about a woman going missing on March 07, the police official said.

Police formed a team and conducted raids in different places and found the woman from the Khoon area of Udhampur district. She was later handed over to her family after proper legal formalities, he said.

Another teenage girl went missing from the Tikri area of the district on February 27. She was handed over to the family after legal procedure, the official said.
