2 persons feared dead after slipping into well in Kupwara

Srinagar: A week after four persons died while working in well in Kupwara, two more persons are feared dead after they slipped into a well while cleaning it in Chalgund village of Hatmat Pora Hyhama in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Thursday .

A police officer said that two persons are feared dead after they slipped into a well  while cleaning it at Ganie Mohalla Chalgund Kupwara.The officer Identified both as  Gh Nabi khan(26) & Mahad Ganae(60) both residents of Chalgund.

However soon after they slipped Subsequently locals besides teams from SDRF and police rushed to the spot and started a massive rescue operation. Station House Officer of the concerned police station said that efforts are underway to retrieve them.

Pertinently, a week ago four persons died after falling into a well in Dard Harie village in Kralpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
