KTMF, KCCI delegations call on Altaf Bukhari

SRINAGAR, MARCH 27:  A delegation of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) and Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)   called on Minister for Finance, Education, Labour & Employment, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari here today to apprise him about various issues being faced by them.

The delegation headed by the president of KTMF Haji Mohammad Yaseen and President KCCI Javaid Ahmad Tenga along with other members of the trade bodies appraised the Minister about the extension date for submission of commercial taxes and other related issues.

The delegation of KTMF also raised the issue of traffic congestion and issues of encroachment by street vendors.

The KCCI delegation said that despite being the main nodal agency for promotion of trade, commerce and industry its members have not been nominated as an equity partner in International Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO).

The Minister, while interacting with the delegations, assured them that their grievances would be looked into and redressed in a time-bound manner.

Bukhari assured that all the stake holders would be taken on board before taking any decision regarding business related activities in the state.
