Srinagar: The holy month of fasting will begin on Saturday as Ramazan crescent was not sighted on Thursday.
However, the crescent was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Thursday and accordingly, Friday, April 24, will be the first day of Ramazan 2020 there.
This year, the holy month will be observed amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has brought entire world to a halt.
