Woman dies of electric shock in Hajin

Uri: A 27-year- old man was electrocuted to death  in Nambla village of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday afternoon when he was repairing an electric wire at home.

Witnesses said that the man received electric shock  while repairing an electric line at his home resulting his on spot death.

The deceased was identified as Sajad Ahmad  son of Abdul Rasheed Sheikh of  Nambla Uri . The electrocuted person was taken to sub district hospital (SDH) Uri, where doctors declared him brought dead.

He was working as sales man with Mir Medicate in Uri. Police have taken cognizance in this regard.
