4 patients quarantined in GMC Baramulla, 2 kept in isolation ward

Baramulla: Four patients have been admitted for quarantine and two patients in isolation ward at the Government Medical College Bramulla, officials said today.

They said the quarantine space as well as an isolation ward have been set up in a separate building away from the main hospital in the campus of GMC Baramulla.

Medical Superintendent, Dr. Masood said that the total number of beds in isolation ward is 13 and total number of beds for quarantine is 40.

“Four patients have been admitted for quarantine and two patients in Isolation ward and they are continuously has been monitored. The patients were having international travel history,” he added.

He said adequate and trained staff is available in the college and all protective measures have been taken.
