Srinagar, Mar 23: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Friday celebrated ‘Pakistan Day’ in Srinagar, in which the party chief Asiya Andrabi said that “all Muslims in the sub-continent are Pakistanis”.
Addressing the party workers during a programme organized to commemorate the “Pakistan Day’ early Friday, Andrabi said: “Every Muslim in the sub-continent is a Pakistani on the basis of Islam, Iman (faith), Quran and love for Prophet Muhammad (SAW).”
During the programme, Andrabi and her supporters sang the national anthem of Pakistan.
Pakistan celebrates March 23 every year as its Republic Day to commemorate the adoption of the first constitution during the transition of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on this day in 1956.
