Baramulla, March 14: A residential house was partially damaged due to recent incessant rains in Dangerpora village of Tehsil Narvaw Sheeri in Baramulla district.
Locals said that walls and windows of double story residential house of Mohmmad Subhan Lone son of Mohammad Akbar Lone of Dangerpora collapsed after its foundation sunk with incessant rains.
The damaged house has left the family houseless. The family members demanded immediate relief and rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Narvaw has sent a team led by Patwari Zahoor Ahmad Dar to assess the damage and evacuates people to safer places.
“The efforts of relief and rehabilitation of the affected families in the recent snowfall and rains are underway as teams of revenue officials has been sent to the different areas of district to submit their assessment report about damage and loss of property,” said Patwari, Zahoor Ahmad Dar .
