Srinagar: There is a heavy rush of skiers and snowboarders for participation in upcoming Khelo India and the Winter Games Association J&K has received too many entry forms for different events, a spokesman of the association said in a statement issued here today.
He said that in this regard the WGAJK is holding selection trials at Gulmarg on 5th March 2020.
All the applicants have been advised to report at 185 ski slope on the said date at 9:00 am along with their equipment. No other facility would be provided by the association. The spokesman said that those who fail to attend the trials will not be considered.
All those athletes who qualify shall have to report at Gulmarg on 6th march for the games till 11th March, he added.
