Qazigund: A motorcyclist was killed while his pillion rider sustained injuries after their motorcycle collided with an Alto car at Manigam Mirbazar in Qazigund along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Friday evening, officials said.
According to officials, the collision was of high impact and proved fatal for the motorcyclist, who died on the spot.
The injured pillion rider was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred near Manigam Mirbazar.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
