BOPEE conducts CET for B.Ed courses of academic session 2026-27

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) today conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B.Ed. Courses-2026 of various Government Institutions of J&K for the Academic Session 2026-27 today across designated Centres at Srinagar and Jammu.

The test was held at the Government College of Education Examination Centre in Srinagar and the Government MAM College Examination Centre in Jammu, with 351 candidates appearing, out of 501 applicants.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the Entrance Test, arrangements were established in collaboration with the respective Institutions/College administrations and law enforcement agencies under the guidance of Prof. Minu Mahajan, Chairperson, J&K BOPEE.

The examination was conducted in a smooth manner with keen oversight of capable staff members from the respective Institutions/Colleges, with no untoward or unfair incident reported.

The Chairperson, along with Members, Secretary, Controller of Examinations and officials of J&K BOPEE, actively monitored the conduct of the Entrance Test in Srinagar & Jammu. They thanked Institutions and staff deployed under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioners of Jammu and Srinagar districts for the smooth conduct of the examination.
