Launched on February 2, 2026, by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the MY Bharat Budget Quest has emerged as a platform for engaging youth in policy discourse aligned with national development priorities. During the Srinagar finale, participants will deliberate on themes such as human capital development, education, skill development, employment and sustainable development, reflecting key priorities of national policy.
A major highlight of the event will be the Women’s Youth Parliament to be held on April 12 under the theme “Nari Shakti: Viksit Bharat Ki Awaaz”. The session will feature structured parliamentary-style discussions by women participants on the Women’s Reservation Bill, culminating in the adoption of a resolution.
The programme will also include an inaugural session, MY Bharat engagement sessions and expert panel discussions on April 13, focusing on sectoral aspects of the Union Budget.
As part of community engagement, a ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative will also be organised in Srinagar in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India, promoting awareness on sustainable development.
A total of 621 selected participants from Zone 1 will engage in discussions and interactions with experts and peers, contributing ideas and perspectives on policy and development.
