The sight of Omar Abdullah — dressed in sportswear and flanked by his security team — running along the Jammu airport road during the early hours elicited positive reactions among onlookers who took to social media to express excitement.

His unannounced run through the locality created a buzz, with people stepping out of their homes to catch a glimpse. Several residents were seen taking photos and recording videos on their mobile phones as Abdullah passed through Bishna before moving to K C Morh along the Jammu airport road.

The morning run quickly became a talking point in the area, with locals appreciating the gesture and many expressing motivation to incorporate fitness activities into their daily routine.

“Message to all of us: let’s prioritise health and fitness by incorporating activities like morning runs into our daily routine. Good health matters, and it makes a difference to our overall well-being and productivity,” a social media user posted after watching a video of the chief minister on Facebook.

Another user said it was remarkable to see the chief minister running down the roads, describing him as a source of inspiration.

Many social media users praised Abdullah’s fitness, commending his active lifestyle and describing his morning run as both motivating and exemplary.
