SRINAGAR: Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, a noted doctor, public health fellow, medical educator and writer from Jammu and Kashmir, has been appointed as an Assessor by the Academy of Medical Educators.
The appointment is being seen as a significant international recognition of Dr. Itoo’s contribution to medical education, clinical training and academic leadership.
As an Assessor with the UK-based body, Dr. Itoo will be responsible for evaluating applications for Membership and Fellowship and ensuring that candidates meet the professional standards prescribed by the Academy.
The Academy of Medical Educators is regarded as one of the leading professional organisations promoting excellence in medical education in the United Kingdom and internationally.
Officials said Dr. Itoo’s appointment reflects global recognition of his expertise and his continued commitment to advancing standards in medical education.
Dr. Itoo is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and the International Diabetes Federation.
In addition, he is a member of the Academy of Medical Educators, an International Practitioner of the Faculty of Public Health under the Royal Colleges of Physicians and a member of the Royal Society of Biology.
Dr. Itoo is also associated with several international professional bodies, including the American College of Physicians and the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, where he serves as an academic life member.
