Bandipora: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum, Bandipora, on Sunday expressed support for the teacher rationalisation process carried out in Hajin under the supervision of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Masood Sahib.
In a statement issued here, the Forum said the rationalisation had been conducted in a fair, transparent and student-centric manner.
The organisation said the process had ensured that the pupil-teacher ratio was maintained appropriately in schools, thereby safeguarding the academic interests and overall welfare of students.
The Forum also appreciated the role of the ZEO Hajin in implementing the exercise.
It said Masood Sahib had carried out the assignment with honesty, dedication and professionalism.
The Forum reiterated that it had already welcomed the initiative earlier and continued to stand by its position.
