Pattan: Shafiq Ahmad Mir, son of Late Gh. Mohammad Mir and a resident of Pattan, passed away after a brief illness.
Known for his noble nature, politeness and generosity, Shafiq Ahmad Mir was widely respected in the area and was held in high regard by all who knew him.
He was the brother-in-law of Kashmir Images News Editor, Akeel Rashid, and is survived by his wife and three daughters.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered on Sunday at Wanigam Bala, Pattan, amid a large gathering of relatives, friends and local residents.
May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannah, and give patience and strength to the bereaved family.
