Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has advised Class 12 students to prioritise the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main in case of a clash with Board practical examinations, assuring that affected candidates will be accommodated through a revised schedule.
In a notification issued recently, JKBOSE stated that students facing a clash between their practical examination dates and the JEE Main schedule should skip the Board practicals and appear for the entrance test.
The JEE Main 2026 is scheduled to be held from April 2 to April 9, which may overlap with practical examinations for some Class 12 candidates.
Students encountering such clashes have been asked to inform the Board via email at jsexamsjd.jkbose@jk.gov.in on or before April 10, 2026, to enable authorities to prepare a revised date sheet.
Candidates have been instructed to provide necessary details, including their name, roll number, examination centre, subject affected, and date of the practical exam.
Reiterating its commitment to student welfare, the Board assured that practical examinations for affected candidates will be rescheduled after the conclusion of the JEE Main.
JKBOSE also extended its best wishes to aspirants appearing for the national-level entrance examination.
